Water Baptism
ARISE Ministries Utah recognizes water baptism as an important act of obedience and a public expression of faith in Jesus Christ.
Baptism represents a believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is an outward testimony of an inward decision to follow Him.
Before baptism, individuals may receive biblical instruction and pastoral guidance to help them understand the meaning of baptism and the commitment they are making.
Baptism does not replace salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a public declaration by a believer who desires to follow Christ in obedience.
