Our Beliefs

ARISE Ministries Utah is a Christian, nondenominational church committed to preaching the Gospel, studying the Word of God, and exalting the Lord Jesus Christ. We seek to promote the spiritual unity of Christian believers while remaining faithful to the doctrine and authority of the Holy Bible.
The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each fully God, equal in divine nature, and united as one God.
The Holy Bible
We believe the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, authoritative Word of God and the final standard for faith, doctrine, worship, conduct, and church life.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, teachings, death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension, continuing intercession, and visible return.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, guides, teaches, comforts, and empowers believers. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit remain available to the Church and should be exercised in love and according to Scripture.
Salvation
We believe all people are sinners and need salvation. Salvation is received by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ by those who repent and confess Him as Lord. Nothing can be added to Christ’s finished work on the cross.
The Church
We believe the Church is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, teach Scripture, make disciples, strengthen believers, provide pastoral care, and serve others.
ARISE carries out this purpose through Bible teaching, worship, prayer, baptism, marriage ceremonies, biblical counseling, chaplaincy, mentorship, outreach, and ministry training.
Baptism and Ordination
We believe water baptism is a public expression of faith in Jesus Christ. We also believe God calls individuals to ministry and that the Church may recognize that calling through biblical preparation, character, and approval according to its bylaws.
Christian Character
We believe pastors, leaders, employees, volunteers, and ministry representatives should demonstrate biblical character, moral integrity, and conduct consistent with the Church’s beliefs.
Resurrection and Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, eternal life with God for those who belong to Christ, judgment, and the creation of a new heaven and new earth.
Sanctity of Human Life
We believe human life is sacred and created by God, and that life begins at conception
Participation
ARISE does not require formal membership to attend ordinary services. Our gatherings are open to those who desire to hear and learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ and who respect the Church’s Statements of Belief.
