Our Story and Purpose
ARISE Ministries Utah was established to teach the Word of God, encourage spiritual growth, and provide a place for worship, prayer, fellowship, and service. What began as a small gathering continues to grow as individuals and families come together to strengthen their faith and build meaningful relationships within the church community.

At ARISE Ministries Utah, we are committed to helping individuals grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible teaching, prayer, discipleship, mentorship, and fellowship. Our goal is to provide biblical guidance and encouragement that helps believers mature in faith and live out their calling with purpose.
Building Community
We seek to cultivate a welcoming church community centered on faith, love, service, and fellowship. Through worship, outreach, ministry involvement, and opportunities to serve others, we encourage individuals and families to build strong relationships and actively participate in the life of the church.
Marco Adame
Senior Pastor
While serving in the US Marine Corps, Marco entered into a teaching ministry for the Catholic Church in 1980. Desiring to increase his knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of the Word of God – in 1993 God led him into different directions. After visiting and listening to several church teachings, Marco made Calvary Chapel his home church. In 1995 Marco and his wife Martha established a nonprofit Christ-centered youth life skills leadership organization in southern California. In 2009 Marco and Martha began hosting home Bible Studies; in 2013 Marco entered Bible College attaining education and training in Theology; became ordained in 2019; and established a nondenominational independent church ministry. After moving to Syracuse, Utah Marco and Martha established ARISE Ministries Utah, and currently teach Bible studies in multiple cities. Marco continues to spend the majority of his time researching the Scriptures to enhance his teaching of God’s Word. He loves spending time with Martha driving and sightseeing, traveling, and simply enjoying life together.
Our Leadership
ARISE Ministries Utah is guided by pastoral leadership and governed by a Board of Directors committed to faithful stewardship, accountability, and the mission of the church.

Jim is honored to serve on the Church Board and lead the Health and Fitness Ministries.
Wellness has always played a major role in his life—it is even how he met his wonderful wife, Staci.
Jim is dedicated to creating a welcoming space where church members can strengthen both their physical bodies and their spiritual faith.
Secretary | Acting Treasurer
Renee Torres
Serves as Secretary and Acting Treasurer for ARISE Ministries Utah. She supports the ministry through administration, organization, stewardship, and service while helping ensure the church operates with accountability and integrity. Renee is committed to supporting the mission of ARISE Ministries Utah and helping create an environment where people can grow in faith, fellowship, and their relationship with Jesus Christ.
